Hearts of Oak coach Aboubakar Ouattara has identified his outfit deficiencies following defeat to Legon Cities in the Ghana Premier League last Saturday.

The Phobians failed to live up to expectations at the Theatre of Dreams, Dawu, succumbing to a 2-0 defeat to Legon Cities in matchday 27 of the Ghanaian top-flight.

Forward Albert Yeboah emerged as the hero for Legon Cities, scoring all goals to secure maximum points for his side.

Goalkeeper Richard Attah committed a blunder leading to his sides defeat in the crucial game.

And speaking after game, the Ivorian trainer refused to blame Attah alone for the defeat but admitted defensive and goalkeeping deficiencies in the team.

“We have a problem as a team. It’s not about goalkeeping alone, but the centre-back. We are trying” he said.

Ouattara admitted Legon Cities superiority following their defeat in the much-anticipated clash.

“We played a very bad game against Legon Cities. We didn’t concentrate and were out of the game. Anytime we concede, we attribute it to the defense and goalkeepers” he said.

Meanwhile, Ouattara has asserted emphasized the need to secure maximum points in their next fixture against Accra Lions.

“We need the three points in every match we play. We’ve lost to Legon Cities but we will work to get the three points in our next game” he said ahead of their game with Accra Lions.

Hearts of Oak are currently eleventh on the Ghana Premier League standings with 35 points after 27 matches.

With six games to the end the season, the Phobians are aiming to finish the campaign on a high note.
