Hearts of Oak reportedly enter formal negotiations with Tamale City for striker Sampson Eduku
Hearts of Oak have expressed their interest in acquiring the services of striker Sampson Eduku from the relegated Tamale City.
The Phobians have reportedly formally requested permission to enter into negotiations for the striker.
Sampson Eduku concluded the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League as Tamale City's top scorer, showcasing his impressive goal-scoring abilities.
He secured the third spot in the league's goal-scoring charts with an impressive tally of 14 goals, falling just three goals short of Abednego Tetteh from Goldstars, who clinched the top spot with 18 goals.
Eduku's stellar debut season with Tamale City has garnered attention from several top clubs across Ghana.
Reports from Ghanaweb suggest that Sampson Eduku is reluctant to continue playing in the lower-tier and is instead eyeing a move to a Premier League club during the current transfer window.
In addition to Hearts of Oak, Medeama SC, the winners of the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League, have also expressed their interest in signing Sampson Eduku.
