Hearts of Oak secure signing of Kwadwo Osei Bonsu to bolster goalkeeping department

Hearts of Oak have augmented their goalkeeping department with the signing of Kwadwo Osei Bonsu.

The Phobians, who has been in dismal form this campaign are in the market searching for quality players in a bid to bolster their squad in the second transfer window.

However, the Ghanaian giants have successfully secured the signature of former WAFA and Berekum Chelsea shot stopper.

Bonsu inked a significant three-and-a-half-year deal with the Phobians and is expected to provided competition in the goalkeeping department.

The newly signed goalkeeper traveled with the team to Kumasi for the much-anticipated game against Great Olympics in the week 15 clash on Friday.

Following a successful medical on Wednesday, the seasoned goalkeeper has been registered and is eligible to play for the Phobians when they lock horns against City-rivals, Olympics.

The decision to augment the goalkeeping department is as a result of Richmond Ayi’s recurring errors for the Phobians.

The Phobians are without a single win in their last four matches in the Ghana Premier League as they sit in the 10th position on the league standings with 17 points from 16 games.
