Hearts of Oak is set to set-up feeder clubs in other parts of the country to give them players in the future, reports reaching footballghana.com has revealed.

The Accra-based club is one of the biggest clubs in Ghana and in Africa as a whole. While they always strive to be the best, their output and achievement in the past decade have let them down.

Recently, they have begun to put their house in order as they look to rediscover the successes of the olden days.

One of the moves they have decided to undertake is to establish feeder clubs in 3 zones in other parts of the country.

The zones which have been chosen include the northern belt, the central belt, as well as the Bono zone.

The Northern belt will have Tamale as the base for one of the feeder clubs, Cape Coast will have one for the Central belt, while Sunyani will have the last feeder club for the Bono Zone.

According to sources, the management of the club has chosen those areas in line with a survey they conducted which has proven that they will find talents in those zones.

Young talents who show promise at the end of every year will have the chance of joining Auroras before eventually being pushed into the senior Hearts of Oak team.

It is understood that they are waiting for the Coronavirus (COVID-19) storm to pass before they initiate the plans.
