Hearts of Oak’s Linda Mtange shifts attention to Berekum Chelsea clash after Accra Lions defeat

Hearts of Oak midfielder Linda Mtange has turned his focus to their game against Berekum Chelsea after succumbing to a defeat against Accra Lions.

Mtange delivered an outstanding performance at the Accra Sports Stadium but it was not enough the Phobians succumbed to a 1-0 defeat.

Ibrahim Issah’s propelled Accra Lions to secure their first-ever win against the Ghanaian giants.

Speaking after the game, Mtange, who emerged as the Man of the Match in the clash was left to rue missed chances in the game.

Meanwhile, the Congolese has turned his attention to his outfit upcoming Premier League fixture against Berekum Chelsea.

"When we lose, the fans can never be happy. They are angry because we lost the match. We might have played well but we lost and it's part of football," he added. "We created more chances but couldn't score. It's part of football but we are thinking of our next game. I'm thinking of the next game and letting this defeat slide.

Hearts of Oak are now 12th on the table with 35 points after 28 games in the standings.
