In a Match Week 7 fixture of the 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League season between Asante Kotoko and Liberty Professionals on Sunday, the two teams were forced to share the spoils after drawing one-all.
The clash happened at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium behind closed doors due to the ban imposed on the Porcupine Warriors by the Ghana Football Association (GFA).
On the matchday, the first half of the match ended goalless with both teams creating some decent goal scoring opportunities. In the second half, an improved performance from both teams saw Liberty Professionals taking the lead on the 56th-minute courtesy a strike from Tamimu Montari.
Late in the match, Kotoko's new striker William Opoku climbed from off the bench to find the back of the net on the 84th minute to restore parity for the Reds.
