Ghanaian midfielder Montel Kofi Owusu Agyemang has expressed his excitement about returning to Margate Football Club for the upcoming 2023/24 season.

The 26-year-old London-born player, who spent the previous season with Billericay Town, is eager to don the blue jersey once again and showcase his skills to the Margate fans.

"I am buzzing to be back; it feels like I have come home. I enjoyed my time here two seasons ago, and now I am buzzing to get back into it," Agyemang said, expressing his enthusiasm about rejoining the club.

Agyemang's previous stint with Margate was highly successful, as he became an integral part of the team under the guidance of manager Jay Saunders.

His contributions played a vital role in Margate's impressive eighth-place finish in the Isthmian Premier Division, along with their notable run to the Velocity Trophy final.

The talented midfielder, known for his technical skills and ability to dictate play in the midfield, aims to make a strong impact on his return to Margate.

"I want to get back on the pitch again and show the fans what I can do and what I have to offer. I left on good terms last summer, so once Reece and Ben got in touch, it was a no-brainer," Agyemang added.
