I fear Mohammed Kudus could leave West Ham in summer - Ex-Hammers striker Frank McAvennie

Former West Ham player Frank McAvennie fears the Hammers could lose the star duo of Mohammed Kudus and Lucas Paqueta in the summer transfer window.

He believes the club could sell them in an attempt to raise money as they are even looking for investors to pump money into the club.

The former Hammers and Celtic striker wants the club to keep the Brazilian and the Ghana star and buy more players to strengthen the team in the summer.

“I think we’ve got people who can score goals,” he told Football Insider.

“We’ve got Kudus and Paqueta… keeping those two is the biggest problem for me, I fear they will both leave, that’s what I keep hearing.

“I don’t want to bring in two defenders but get rid of Kudus and Paqueta. We need to keep them, and get defenders.”

In an injury-hit campaign, the Brazilian has tallies of seven goals and seven assists from all competitions, while Ghana international Kudus has 12 goals and five assists from his 36 appearances for the club.
