I take responsibility when we concede in our games – Medeama defender Vincent Atinga
Medeama defender Vincent Atinga has revealed he has been taking responsibility in the sides Ghana Premier League games.
The Yellow and Mauves currently sit third position on the league log with 46 points after 28 matches into the domestic top-flight.
Explaining why his outfit has been solid in defense, the former Hearts of Oak towering guardsman said he always responsibility whenever the team concede a goal in their games.
“Always I tell the back four to listen to me and if there is any blame, I take it. As a player you need to take responsibility. Whenever we concede, I take the blame and I think that has helped us to stabilized the defense” he said.
Atinga has been instrumental for the Tarkwa-based club and will hope to guide the club to finish at a respectable position at the end of the season.
