Legon Cities youngster Frederick Akatuk has set sights on scoring more goals for the club in the ongoing Ghana Premier League campaign.

The 21-year-old forward joined the Royals before the start of the second half of the campaign from Benab FC has since established himself as key member of the team.

Akatuk, who has become an instant hit for the club has racked two goals in eight games for the Legon Cities.

Speaking to Kickgh.com, the enterprising forward attributed his quick adaption to life at the club to coach Samuel Paa Kwesi Fabin and has therefore set sights on bagging in more goals for the team before the season ends.

"So far things are moving well since joining Legon Cities. I have two goals in eight matches so i will say it hasn’t been bad.

"With adaptation, I thought things were going to be difficult since I joined in the second round but Paa Kwesi Fabin has been really helpful, he gave me time and was very patient with me to settle well."

"I'm looking forward to score more goals going forward to help my team finish at a good position", he concluded

Frederick Akatuk will hope for another starting berth when they host Berekum Chelsea on Friday, April 26, 2024.
