I will speak with Jerome Boateng after August 23- Hasan Salihamidzic
The future Bayern Munich sporting director, Hasan Salihamidzic has revealed that he will have a conversation with the defender about his future after August 23.
Boateng, 31, had a complicated relationship with the management earlier in the season and it was widely reported that he wanted to leave.
That however seems to have changed with an increased role at the club since Hansi Flick took over as interim and later permanent head coach of the club.
"Jerome is doing very well, and we are not at the end of the season," said the 43-year-old from the "Bild am Sonntag". "We still have big tasks and goals before August 23, after which we will speak," Salihamidzic disclosed.
The former Manchester City defender has made 23 appearances in the Bundesliga this season. His current contract at the club runs till 2021.
