Ghanaian midfielder Baba Alhassan has expressed his ambitious desire to represent the Black Stars in the future.

After an impactful training stint with FC Steaua Bucuresti, the promising Ghanaian player has set his sights on donning the national jersey.

The Romanian club made a substantial investment in securing Alhassan's talents, paying a noteworthy 600,000 euros for his services. Additionally, FC Hermannstadt holds a significant 20% stake in any potential future transfer of the young player.

Having previously showcased his skills with the Ghana U-17 team, Alhassan sees his move to a prominent European club as a stepping stone towards earning a coveted spot in the national team.

Reflecting on his initial impressions, he admitted that European football was more challenging than he had initially thought. Determined to thrive in this competitive environment, Alhassan emphasized the need for hard work and dedication to propel his career forward.

"When I was in Africa I didn't know what European football was, I thought it was easy. But when I got there, I understood that I had to work very hard to progress," he told FCSB TV.

"I played for the Ghana U17 national team and I would like to reach the big team too especially now that I have reached a big club. Who knows, maybe soon I will get a summons. I am ready and focused to fight for the title. The main objective is to become champion, then to play in European cups," he added.
