Former Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Felix Annan has expressed his excitement after signing for English semi-professional club, Carlton Town FC.

Carlton Town FC announced the deal on Friday afternoon via a statement on their website, saying “absolutely delighted to announce “Felix the Cat” has signed to Carlton Town First Team from Pass Move Grin FC”.

The number of years he has signed for are undisclosed.

The 28-year-old took to Twitter to express his happiness for the completion of the deal after what he described as a tough few months.

“I am delighted to announce being a Miller, Carlton Town FC,” the former Real Tamale United player wrote.

“It’s been a tough decision for me some couple of months now but I am happy finally I found a new wonderful home & being close to my son, who I made this choice for.

“Can’t wait for the start of the season.”

Annan began his career at Gomoa Fetteh Feyenoord Academy, before signing for Asante Kotoko.

In 2014, Annan was loaned to Real Tamale United, going out on loan again to the West African Football Academy in 2015.
