Asante Kotoko Prosper Narteh Ogum is pleased with the performance of his players despite sharing the spoils with Bechem United in the week 7 of the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.

The Porcupine Warriors were unable to secure victory in the crucial game against the Hunters.

Peter Acquah scored his debut goal for the Porcupine Warriors before evergreen Augustine Okrah pulled parity for the visitors as the game ended 1-1 at the Baba Yara Stadium.

“I think we played well in the first half, created a lot chances which we should have ended the game in the first half but we didn’t take our chances. In the second half, they got a goal that changed the complexity of the game but I’m okay”

“I think the issue was their equalizer, I think that gave them some energy, it was a psychological goal which gave them some energy. We needed to be mentality strong to forge ahead to create the chances and score. For the intensity, I think we were able to match with the intensity of the game, just the goal that I think disturbed the players and that was why they behave the way they behaved” he said.

Asante Kotoko are still locked 7th on the table with 10 points while United are 12th with eight points.
