Nations FC coach, Kassim Ocansey Mingle has described their opening fixture of the upcoming 2024/25 Ghana Premier League as a difficult test.

The Abrankese based side will host Bechem United at the Dr Kyei Sports Complex.

Acknowledging the challenge of their opening match against Bechem United, Mingle described it as a tough start but stressed his focus on preparing his team to face any opponent.

“Starting against Bechem United will obviously be a tough start but we have to be ready for any opponent,” Mingle remark in an interview with the club's website.

In their debut campaign last season, the Abrankese based side finished at the 7th position with 49 points.

Ahead of the start of the season, Mingle says he aims at improving their performance.

“The league is in a way that it doesn’t matter who you play first or last," he said.

"The most important thing for us is that we have to make sure we improve on last season’s performance,” Mingle added.

Meanwhile, the anticipated season is slated to kick off on September 6.
