GHALCA boss Kudjoe Fianoo announces teams for upcoming top four Competition

GHALCA boss Kudjoe Fianoo has provided details about the upcoming top four competition.

In an interview with Peace FM, monitored by Footballghana.com, Fianoo confirmed that FA Cup winners Nsoatreman and Ghana Premier League winners Samartex will not participate due to their African campaigns. Instead, Bechem United, Berekum Chelsea, Nations FC, and Medeama SC will compete.

"This year we are playing off-season Ghalca competition because some things disrupted our plan so we couldn't get the real top four but we have a responsibility that after the end of every league, we will play this competition among our members," he said.

"Yes we had to play top four but our calendar and what GFA gave us didn't help us it clashed with the CAF competitions so the FA Cup winner and the league winner couldn't take part in the competition.

"So we dropped the four behind them four during our talks and interaction with the clubs Bechem, Chelsea, Nations and Medeama will take part Kotoko was supposed to take part but they told us they have arranged for their off-season preparation so they can't take part," he added.
