Ghanaian youth defender Terry Yegbe was giving the marching orders during Elfsborg game against Sirius in the Swedish Allsevenskan game on Monday.

The Black Meteors centre-back was called to action on Monday and delivered an outstanding performance for Elfsborg until he was sent off.

Yegbe deliberately elbowed an opponent player in injury time on the blind side of the referee. However, communication from the assistant led to the sending off of the Ghana youth international.

Having received the marching orders, the Ghanaian defender could face disciplinary action after reacting awkwardly to the referee following the red card incident.

Goals from Arbër Zeneli and Per Frick were enough for Elfsborg to secure maximum points in the much-anticipated clash.

The home team opened the scoring few minutes to the halftime break through Arber Zeneli before Per Frick scored in the 59th minute to seal victory for the host.

The 23-year-old joined Elfsborg in February and has already made six league appearances for the club.

Meanwhile, compatriot, Michael Baidoo lasted the entire duration of the game, playing a pivotal role for Elfsborg while Emmanuel Boateng was missing in action.
