Ghana’s Andre Ayew congratulates youngster Yassine Kechta after brace heroics in Le Havre’s win over Strasbourg

Ghana captain Andre Ayew has congratulated youngster Yassine Kechta after netting a brace to inspire Le Havre to victory over Strasbourg in the French Ligue 1.

The Moroccan international scored twice as Le Havre cruised to a 3-1 win over Strasbourg on Saturday.

Midfielder Yassine Kechta opened the scoring for Le Havre in the 24th minute before adding his second after the break.

Strasbourg pulled one back through Frederic Guilbert with four minutes remaining as the visitors piled pressure on Le Havre.

But the Black Stars skipper stepped up to score in injury time to seal victory for the host in the much-anticipated clash.

After the game, Ayew took to social to express his joy after his sides victory over Strasbourg whiles he commend Yassine Kechta for his brace heroics.

“+3. Beautiful atmosphere in our stadium and big game made by the whole team. Happy to have scored my 1st goal in our stadium in front of our audience. Congratulations little brother @yassine.kechta” he wrote on Instagram sighted by Footballghana.com.

Ayew has been influential for Le Havre since joining the club as a free agent last year, netting his fifth goal of the campaign for the club.
