He is a super player now - Asante Kotoko coach Prosper Narteh Ogum praises Enoch Morrison

Asante Kotoko coach Prosper Narteh Ogum has showered praise on Enoch Morrison for his outstanding contribution to the team in recent times.

The former King Faisal player has been deployed in an unfamiliar role at the club and has since impressed.

The technical team led by Prosper Narteh Ogum were forced to play Morrison as a typical midfielder due to numerous injuries in the team.

Morrison played as a defensive midfielder against Samartex and Legon Cities, where Kotoko managed to secure victories.

Speaking after their 2-0 win over Legon Cities, Ogum singled out Morrison for praise for his impressive performance for the club.

“It’s a plus for his himself and the technical team as well. We spoked with him when we had challenges in the middle of the park and he told me to try him there he will be able to do it. So we did a few tactical training and then, we started him in the Samartex game and he’s being working well”

“We are showing him videos and I think is good. All that he needs to add to his game is to try to surge forward anytime we are advancing forward. He shouldn’t sit right behind the defensive line, he should join the attack so that we will have more men up front. He is a super player now”

The Porcupine Warriors inflicted a 2-0 win over Legon Cities at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday to secure maximum points.

Since they met with owner Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu after a series of bad results, the Porcupine Warriors have displayed resilience, remaining undefeated. On Sunday, they clinched their second win in three games.

Goals from Steven Desse Mukwala and defender Nurudeen Yussif Mohammed propped the Ghanaian giants to snatch victory.

Asante Kotoko are currently tenth on the Ghana Premier League table with 40 points after 29 matches.
