We overrated Dreams FC – Soccer Intellectuals coach after FA Cup defeat

Richard Ansah, the head coach of Division One League side, Soccer Intellectuals, said his team overrated Dreams FC in their FA Cup game on Thursday afternoon.

The Division One side fell short when they faced the Still Believe lads at the Theater of Dreams in Dawu, competing for a place in the last four of the competition.

Youngster Abdul Aziz Issah scored the only goal as the Ghana Premier League club emerged as one nil winners, securing their spot in the semis as Dreams FC aims to make a quick return to the CAF Confederation Cup.

Following the game, Richard Ansah praised Dreams FC as the superior team during the match.

“My boys did well. They played to instructions and I would say we played with a better side.

“Dreams are a very, very, very better side. I would say that's what happened within the 90 minutes. We were too cautious when we were playing. The boys were too cautious.

“I would say Dreams FC would never underrate us but we overrated them and this is what was happening in the first half.”
