It was difficult to say ‘no’ to Legon Cities – Paa Kwesi Fabin
Experienced trainer Samuel Paa Kwesi Fabin has said it was rare for him to turn down Legon Cities to be their head coach.
Fabin recently joined the Royals after ending his stay with Aduana Stars at the end of the 2022/23 season.
Fabin, who previously managed Asante Kotoko at his unveiling disclosed he wanted to take break away from the Ghana Premier League but said it was difficult for him to reject Legon Cities offer.
“After leaving my previous club, I wanted to stay off for a while and start my own academy but when Legon Cities FC called, it was difficult to say no”
“I am excited to be here and start this new challenge. I look forward to a fruitful season together with the management and everyone connected here.” He said.
The experienced gaffer will stair the affairs of the club with the aim of developing young talents and making them a competitive side for the Premier League.
The Ghana Premier League will begin on September 15, 2023.
