George Mireku Duker, Member of Parliament for Tarkwa Nsuaem and Deputy Minister of Lands and Natural Resources, has underscored the significance of Medeama's upcoming friendly match against Asante Kotoko on Friday.

Duker views the game as crucial, emphasizing that a loss could be seen as a bad omen for the Yellow and Mauves.

The friendly, set to inaugurate the new TNA Stadium, will see the Porcupine Warriors visit Medeama's new home ground.

Speaking ahead of the game, Duker expressed confidence that Medeama will emerge victorious.

“This is the home of Medeama. I mean, read my lips—it's the home of Medeama. It would be a bad omen for us to lose our first-ever match on this very turf. So, Kotoko, come and play, but play responsibly.

“Don't come and, you know, overdo it or overstretch your muscles. This is a friendly encounter. Play your heart out. Let's have fun. And obviously, Medeama will come out with flying colors.”

With a seating capacity of 10,400, the TNA Stadium is equipped with modern amenities designed to enhance the fan experience.

The opening of the TNA Stadium is a significant milestone for Medeama supporters and the Tarkwa community.

The TNA Stadium is anticipated to become a key venue for future football events, hosting both local and international matches.
