‘It’s not over until it’s over’ – Nations FC coach declares team’s intent to fight for GPL title to the end

The head coach of Nations Football Club, Coach Kasim Mingle Ocansey has stressed that his team plans to fight for the Ghana Premier League title until the campaign comes to an end.

The gaffer made the statement on Friday afternoon after his team defeated Accra Lions 1-0 in their Week 30 encounter of the league campaign.

Speaking to StarTimes, Coach Kasim Mingle said Nations FC will fight for every single point in the remaining games in their bid to win the title.

“We have 15 points left and the team leading has seven points difference so it’s not over until it’s over,” the Nations FC coach said.

Following the win over Accra Lions, Nations FC stays second on the league table and just four points behind league leaders Samartex FC.

Up next for the team, Coach Mingle and his boys will take on Aduana Stars on Week 31.

Coach Kasim Mingle is expecting a very interesting match.

“It’s going to be an interesting game. Very interesting. We take it match after match so when we get to that match we will talk about it,” the coach said after the win over Accra Lions.
