Anderlecht teenage sensation Jérémy Doku has been recorded as the 9th youngest player to make a debut in the Jupiler Pro League since 2000.

The winger made his Belgium top flight league debut on 25th November 2018 at just 16 years and 179 days. He has gone on to become one of the hottest prospects of the club and Europe in the last two years.

Although he burst unto the scene at a young age, he is not the youngest in the list. Former Racing Genk forward Anthony Limbombe made his debut in the league at just 16 years and 63 days, the youngest in the last two decades.

He is closely followed by Joren Dehond who made his debut for Oud-Heverlee Leuvren at 16 years and 63 days. Mats Rits completes the top three after making his first appearance for Germinal Beerschot at just 16 years and 75 days.

Doku is also not the youngest Anderlecht player on the list to make his debut in the league. Youri Tielemans, Romelu Lukaku and Vanden Borre all made their debuts at younger ages than the 18 year old.

Doku made 21 league appearances this season, scoring three goals and providing three assists.
