Jordan Ayew and Jeffrey Schlupp deserve to start every game for Crystal Palace - Oliver Glasner

Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner says that Jordan Ayew and Jeffrey Schlupp possess the caliber and ability to start games for The Eagles.

Speaking ahead of Crystal Palace's English Premier League clash against Newcastle United at 19:00 GMT on Wednesday night, April 24 at Selhurst Park, Glasner highlighted the duo's potential.

Ayew and Schlupp, traditionally regular starters for Crystal Palace, have seen reduced game time under Glasner, the emergence of talents like Eberechi Eze and Michael Olise, and the recent standout performances by Jean-Philippe Mateta.

Glasner lauded the quality of both players, emphasizing their readiness to contribute from the starting lineup.

“I think we all agree with [Ebere] Eze, [JP] Mateta and [Michael Olise], all these three amazing players are in really good shape. Ebs scores goals, JP scores goals, Michael scores goals – and they assist.

“Then we also have Jeffrey Schlupp, with Jordan Ayew, with Odsonne Edouard, three players who could start every game because they also deserve it, because of their quality and their talent.”
