Ghanaian striker Jordan Ayew was in action for Crystal Palace as they lost 4-0 to league leaders Liverpool in the Premier League on Wednesday night.
Ayew lasted for 84 minutes as the Eagles lost heavily at Anfield in their match week 31 fixture.
Trent Alexander-Arnold opened the scoring for Liverpool with a superb free-kick after 22 minutes and Mohamed Salah doubled their lead with a cool finish from Fabinho's brilliant pass just before the break.
After the recess, Fabinho produced something even more special in the 54th minute when he drilled a magnificent rising right-foot finish past Wayne Hennessey from more than 30 yards.
Salah turned provider after 69 minutes with a slide-rule pass to Sadio Mane, who finished with precision as Liverpool sealed a 4-0 win at Anfield.
Crystal Palace are presently ninth on the league table with 42 points - seven points adrift fifth-placed Manchester United with seven games left to play.
Ayew is Palace's top scorer this season with nine goals in 30 league appearances.
