Jordan Ayew has proven himself- Roy Hodgson

Crystal Palace coach Roy Hodgson has confessed that his forward Jordan Ayew has proven himself at the club with his brilliant performances this season.

The Ghanaian was on fire for the Eagles before the suspension of the league, scoring 8 goals and assisting another goal in 28 games. This is by far the highest tally scored by a Palace Player this season.

The 28 year old is having his best output in the Premier League but is also chasing his previous goal scoring record set in the 2014/15 where he scored 12 goals for Lorient.

“We signed him in the summer, we paid money for his loan last season, and he has proven himself. I think he got stronger last season when he was not as successful in terms of goals and assists, but I am delighted with him, " Hogson said to the media.

Ayew is currently self isolating due to the outbreak of the coronavirus.
