Kotoko and Hearts to play their first game in England

History will be made next month when Ghana’s most successful clubs, Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko lock horns in London, England.  

The big encounter between the Phobians and the Porcupine Warriors is a special match to mark the celebration of Ghana’s Independence Day Anniversary for this year.

The encounter which has the full backing of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) and the Ministry of Youth, Sports, and Culture will be played at the Barnet Stadium in London on March 7, 2020.

The meeting between the bitterest rivals will be their first game outside the shores of Ghana.

According to the organizers of the match, referees that will officiate the match will be selected by the English FA.

Both teams will travel with 30 players each to England for the match with reports indicating that the trip will be made on March 5, 2020.
