Kotoko CEO calls on fans to remain calm ahead of CARA 2nd leg game

Asante Kotoko Executive Chairman Dr Kwame Kyei wants the followers of the club to remain calm and optimistic ahead of their return leg against CARA Brazzaville on February 21.

Kotoko go into the second leg with a 1-0 lead after squandering three penalty kicks during a dramatic first leg tie in Kumasi on Sunday.

Many are not sure of the progression of the team into the next stage of the competition but Dr Kwame Kyei is urging the fans to have hope in the team.

"I have said that the battle won't be easy. We have to rely on God in these difficult times. That's my principle in life," he told Kumasi-based Light FM

"We have not given up any hope of qualifying to the next stage at all. I will continuously plead for patience from the fans.

"The battle will be tough but patience move mountains. I will thank everybody for the massive show of support so far."
