Ghanaian midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah was an unused substitute in Inter Milan 3-3 draw against Sassuolo in Serie A on Wednesday.

Asamoah watched the entire game from the bench as The Nerazzurri secure a point in a near-empty stadium.

Francesco Caputo opened the scoring for mid-table Sassuolo in the 4th minute of the game before Lukaku equalised with a penalty in the 41st minute.

Alexis Sanchez set up Cristiano Biraghi to give Inter the lead but then substitute Ashley Young conceded a penalty which Domenico Berardi scored.

Borja Valero and Sassuolo's Giangiacomo Magnani scored late tap-ins before Inter had Milan Skriniar sent off.

Inter's Roberto Gagliardini hit the crossbar from close range and former Manchester United and Everton striker Lukaku also had a goal disallowed for offside in an entertaining match.

Inter are third with 58 points, six behind leaders Juventus.

Asamoah has been plighted with injuries so far this season, making only 11 appearances and providing one assist for Inter Milan.
