Lalas Abubakar makes MLS Team of the Week
Ghana defender Lalas Abubakar has been named to the MLS Team of the Week the league following his impressive display in Columbus Crew’s barren away draw with Seattle Sounde4rs.
The 23-year-old University of Ghana graduate was arguably the man of the match at the CenturyLink Field as his side put up a fantastic display.
Columbus Crew’s winger Pedro Santos was shown a straight red card as early as the 15th minute but Abubakar put up a splendid one-man show at the back as his side secured a valuable away point.
This is the third time Lalas has been named in the MLS team of the week so far this season.
