Legon Cities FC coach Wahid Mohammed is highly optimistic his side will beat Asante Kotoko in their match week two game of the on-going 2019/20 Ghana Premier League season.

Legon Cities FC were held to a 2-2 draw by Liberty Professionals after taking a two goal lead at the Dansoman Carl Reindorf Park last Sunday.

"I'm fine with the results. We were playing away from home and as you know the calibre of Liberty, we planned very well tactically and our main aim was to win the game but unfortunately these things happen in football so they equalized and draw is okay for us," he said after their game against Liberty.

"We are playing Asante Kotoko in our next game and Kotoko is like Liberty. The way we prepared for Liberty we will play the same against Kotoko but more intensively," he said confidently.

Legon Cities will welcome Asante Kotoko to the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday in their next league outing as they hope to pick up their first three points of the season.
