Let’s be positive and support Otto Addo – Ex-Ghana defender Kuuku Dadzie tells Ghanaians

Former Ghana international James Kuuku Dadzie has thrown his support behind the appointment of Otto Addo as head coach for the Black Stars.

Otto Addo is back for a second spell with the Black Stars, replacing former Premier League manager Chris Hughton following the team’s poor performance at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast, where Ghana bowed out at group stage.

He penned a three-year contract with an option to extend for two-years to lead the national team for the second time.

However, the former Ghana defender has urged Ghanaians to be positive and support Otto Addo to succeed.

“A lot of coaches applied for the Black Stars and the committee felt Otto Addo can do the job. I believe it’s a good decision and we must pray for him to succeed”

“We shouldn’t be negative, we should be positive, that he will deliver and that is the spirit. He has been given the job whether you like it or not, so we just have to support him to do the right things” he told Kessben FM monitored by Footballghana.com.

Otto Addo has already led the Black Stars in two games since assuming his role as the head coach of the Black Stars.

He was in charge when the Black Stars suffered a 2-1 defeat to Nigeria before playing out a 2-2 draw with the Cranes of Uganda during the Match international friendlies.
