Leicester City's rise to the English Premier League (EPL) is being fueled by the stellar performance of Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, whose hat-trick propelled them closer to securing qualification.

The 20-year-old Black Stars winger showcased his talent with a remarkable display, scoring his first-ever professional hat-trick as Leicester thrashed Southampton 5-0 in the Sky Bet English Championship.

Issahaku's standout performance included an assist for Jamie Vardy's goal, contributing significantly to Leicester's commanding victory and extending their lead atop the standings by four points.

With just two games remaining, Leicester City needs a single win to secure promotion to the EPL, marking a swift return after being relegated the previous season.

During the 2023-2024 league season, Issahaku has amassed six goals and 12 assists in 39 games, further solidifying his impact on loan from Sporting Lisbon.

Reflecting on his milestone achievement, Issahaku said,  "Last night was boom... one more step to the main purpose, let’s get it done together," in a post on his social media page.
