Lumor Agbenyenu suffers fresh injury while in action for Mallorca against Celta Vigo

Ghana international Lumor Agbenyenu has suffered another injury setback while in action for his RCD Mallorca side against Celta Vigo on Tuesday evening in the Spanish La Liga.

The two Spanish top-flight clubs are in action today to fight for 3 points to enhance their chances of a good finish at the end of the 2019/2020 football season.

Having returned to the starting eleven of RCD Mallorca, Lumor Agbenyenu was looking forward to enjoying 90 minutes for the first time since football made a return in Spain.

Unfortunately for the on-loan defender, he could only last 42 minutes of the game and had to be substituted.

Having gone into a challenge, the left-back came out feeling the pains of a knock, forcing his manager to replace him with Fran Gamez.

This comes as a big blow for Lumor who has missed quite a number of games for Mallorca this season as a result of several injuries.

Meanwhile, Mallorca is leading Celta Vigo 3-0 at halftime with Baba Idrissu playing in a midfielder role.
