Majeed Ashimeru: Former WAFA star donates sanitizers & food items to Nima-411 community

As the country continues in its fight against the Coronavirus pandemic, Red Bull Salzburg midfielder Majeed Ashimeru has decided to give back to the community to provide support for people in these hard times.

In line with that, the former West Africa Football Academy (WAFA) star man has made a donation to the Nima-411 community where he grew up.

The items he has given out includes bags of rice, cooking oil and hand sanitizers. The items is to supports families in the community to get through the period of the partial lockdown imposed by the government as a precautionary measure against the spread of the Covid-19.

In an interview with GHANASoccernet.com, the 22-year-old Majeed Ashimeru said, “I feel my little contribution can make a difference in my community. I know how it feels to be in a lockdown situation. I pray this Coronavirus issue is properly dealt with so we can continue our normal lives”.

Majeed Ashimeru has had a good season with RB Salzburg this season where has chipped in with 2 goals after making 14 appearances.
