The center-back who is playing his first season in the Spanish La Liga has been exceptional all season and is wanted by a host of top clubs.

Earlier this year, Manchester United looked at the player in hopes of securing his services in the summer transfer window but subsequently lost interest on the back of the financial implications presented by the Covid-19 crisis.

Following the resumption of football in England where the defensive shortcomings of the Red Devils have once again come to the fore, they have renewed their interest in Mohammed Salisu and will try to bring the 20-year-old to the Old Trafford when the next transfer window opens.

Real Valladolid holds the center-back in high esteem and even rejected a 12 million Euros offer from French Ligue 1 side Stade Rennes earlier this months.

They want to cash in on the asset big time with other clubs such as Valencia, Atletico Madrid, and Southampton all believed to be interested in the defender.
