Maxim Gyamfi part ways with VFL Bochum

German-born defender of Ghanaian descent, Maxim Gyamfi is partying ways with VFL Bochum, footballghana.com can report.

The former Schalke 04 man was promoted from the U-19 team of Bochum to the senior team at the beginning of the 2019/2020 football season.

Having failed to convince the technical team of his readiness of a first-team role, he has been forced to watch from the stands all campaign.

With just a few games to end the German 2. Bundesliga season, VFL Bochum, and Maxim Gyamfi have decided to part ways.

It is understood that he has been in talks with a club in the lower division and should complete a transfer to the club when the summer transfer window opens.

The 18-year-old is one of 6 players that are leaving VFL Bochum. The other players are Stefano Celozzi, Patrick Fabian, Simon Lorenz, Ulrich Bapoh, and Jan Wellers.
