Medeama duo Samadu Abdulai and Junior Alipio Ranious are eager to hit the ground running after joining the club from Ghanaian second-tier Wa Suntaa.

Abdulai and Ranious both signed a four-year deal with the Mauve and Yellow lads ahead of the new season.

The pair is part of the team that has traveled to Kumasi for the start of 21-week pre-season camping.

They are expected to add bite and competition in the Medeama set-up ahead of the new season.

"I am very happy to be here and ready for this mounting challenge. This is my first Premier League shot and I hope to make it count," Abdulai told medeamasc.com.

"This is a dream come true for me and I can’t wait to get started. I have felt comfortable here already and will keep working hard in training," Alipio also said.

The duo played an influential role for Wa Suntaa in the Ghana Division One League zone 1 last season.
