Medeama loan out captain Kofi Asmah to Togolese champions ASKO de Kara

Ghanaian outfit Medeama have loan out their captain Kofi Asmah to Togolese champions ASKO de Kara ahead of the 2024-25 campaign.

Asmah will feature for the Togolese outfit for one full season as they aim to make impact in the upcoming campaign.

ASKO de Kara are in the market searching for quality players to bolster their squad for the new season. They will compete in the CAF Champions League, which begins next month.

However, the Togolese giants has settled on the Medeama defender to strengthen their team for the new season.

Asmah established himself as a key member for the Yellow and Mauve since joining the club.

He was part of the Medeama squad that won the Ghana Premier League for the first time in their history last two seasons.

In the recently concluded season, Asmah delivered an outstanding performance for Medeama in both Ghana Premier League and CAF Champions League campaign, where the Yellow and Mauve reached the group stage for the first time in history.

He played seven matches in the continental competition and scored once against Guinean giants Horoya AC in the second preliminary round at the Cape Coast Stadium.

Asmah also made 22 appearances in the Ghana Premier League last season for the Yellow and Mauves and scored one goal in the process.
