Medeama SC goalkeeper Eric Ofori Antwi joins Legon Cities

Ghana Premier League side, Medeama Sporting Club have announced that goalkeeper Eric Ofori Antwi has joined Premier League side, Legon Cities.

Antwi, 26, spent five years in Tarkwa where he featured prominently as the club’s number one.

The Yellow and Mauves have reached an agreement with the Royals for the transfer of the experienced shot-stopper as he brings the curtain on his career in Tarkwa down.

A club statement reads, "Medeama have reached an agreement with Legon Cities FC for the permanent transfer of goalkeeper Eric Ofori Antwi.

"We would like to thank Eric for his services and contributions to the club and wish him well in his career."

The former Ghana Under-20 goalkeeper and Black Stars B goalie distinguished himself during his stint at the club.

He rose to become the vice-captain of the club, deputizing for Joseph Tetteh-Zutah.
