Medeama SC see off Kotoko with a 2-1 win to open ‘stunning’ T&A Stadium

Medeama Sporting Club laboured to defeat Asante Kotoko 2-1 on Friday evening to officially open the newly-built T&A Stadium.

The stunning T&A Stadium build by Gold Fields will house Medeama Sporting Club following its completion.

Today, Gold Fields formally handed the edifice to Medeama SC as the club prepares to use the facility in the 2023/24 Ghanaian football season.

To open the stadium, Medeama SC hosted Asante Kotoko in an exhibition match that produced an entertaining contest.

At the end of a pulsating encounter, Medeama SC cruised past Asante Kotoko with a 2-1 victory for the bragging rights.

After the win, the beautiful T&A Stadium is ready to host matches.

Medeama Sporting Club will use the venue as home grounds in the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League seasons and the next MTN FA Cup.
