VfL Bochum's new signing, Myron Boadu, will start the competitive season on the bench against SSV Jahn Regensburg this Sunday.

The Dutch-born Ghanaian striker, who joined the Ruhr club on loan from French Ligue 1, is being carefully integrated into the team by coach Peter Zeidler.

At a press conference on Friday, Zeidler explained, "I don't think they'll start yet. We'll build them up over the next few days and weeks. Maybe not in the same period, because they're starting from different positions. But the integration process is underway. You need time to integrate and get used to the processes."

Despite not being in the starting eleven, Boadu is expected to be a valuable substitute in the cup match. He made a strong impression in a recent test match against Le Havre AC, playing around 30 minutes and scoring his first goal for VfL Bochum.

Zeidler's cautious approach aims to ensure Boadu's smooth transition into the team, allowing him to adapt to the club's tactics and processes before taking on a more significant role.
