Nana Yaw Amponsah, President of Division Two side, Phar Rangers has pledged to build a football museum in a bid to preserve Ghana's rich football history should he get the nod as the president of the Ghana Football Association in 2019.

Nana Amponsah, who is also a FIFA intermediary and football lawyer, was the first to declare his intentions to contest for the Ghana FA hot seat in 2019 following Kwesi Nyantakyi's declaration that he will not for a fourth term in office when his term in office ends.

"I will build a football museum in Ghana if I become the GFA president," he told Asempa FM.

"I understand football as a business and funding the projects won't be an issue,' he added.

The 35-year-old further posited his desire to improve the top-three tiers of Ghana football by empowering the clubs with infrastructure and securing sponsorships for the various stakeholders of the three top tiers of Ghana football including clubs, referees.

"I will create an effective sponsorship ambassadorial team, comprising of renowned former footballers and other celebrities to build awareness and attract the corporate world to support the GFA's activities," he added.
