Nations FC tactician Kasim Ocansey Mingle has blamed his players for stalemate against Bibiani Goldstars in matchday 28 of the Ghana Premier League.

The Premier League debutants shared the spoils with the miners at the Dr Kwame Sports Complex on Sunday afternoon after failing to convert their chances.

Speaking after the game, Mingle blamed his players’ wastefulness in front of goal for their stalemate against Goldstars.

“We shouldn’t draw in such a game. We created all the chances which was easy to score than to miss. Blame the players. They played and had the chances but wasted them”

“We’ve been working day in day out on our finishing, yet it hasn’t yielded any positive results. 70% of our training are based on finishing. I’m disappointed in the players because the chances came to them” he said.

Nations FC remains second on the Ghana Premier League standings with 45 points after 28 matches, seven points behind log leaders Samartex.

The Abrankese-based club will travel to Nalerigu to face Karela United in matchday 29 of the Ghana Premier League this weekend.
