Nations FC coach Kasim Ocansey Mingle has refused to rule out Asante Kotoko ahead of their clash this weekend despite the Porcupine Warriors dip on form.

The record league holders have been in dismal form since the resumption of the domestic top-flight last month. They have managed just a win in five games, losing four in the second round of the campaign.

The Porcupine Warriors will welcome Nations FC to the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday in matchday 23 of the top-flight.

But they come up against Nations FC, who have been impressive in their maiden Ghana Premier League campaign. They have managed 11 wins, 4 draws and 7 defeats.

The Abrankese-based club emerged victorious in their outstanding game against Dreams FC on Wednesday, propelling them to second spot on the league standings after 22 games.

Mingles outfit are second with 37 points, two points behind log leaders Samartex.

Ahead of the Kotoko clash, the former Bechem United trainer says the better team will secure victory.

“We don’t want to put pressure on anybody. Our preparations for Kotoko’s game won’t be different. We will prepare just like other Ghana Premier League games. Both teams will be hoping for maximum points but the better side will carry the day”

“Football is a game of uncertainty. Now a day, things are not going on well for Kotoko but they can play one of their best games against us, so the better side will win on Sunday” he said.
