No pay cut as Aduana Stars pay player salary for May in full

The management of Aduana Stars have paid the salaries of the playing body for the month of May without any form of a pay cut, footballghana.com can report.

In the midst of the Coronavirus (Covid-19) crisis which has resulted in the suspension of the 2019/2020 football season, the Ghana Premier League club continues to pay its players in full.

Speaking to Kumasi-based Oyerepa FM, Aduana Stars captain Emmanuel Akuoku has confirmed that the playing body has indeed received their May salary and in full.

"It is true that we have received the month of May salary. I received my notification yesterday", the midfielder said.

He added, "There was no pay cut from the salaries we have received so far...may the good Lord continue to bless our Life Patron Dr. Osagyefo Oseadeeyo Nana Agyeman Badu II, Aduana Piesie".

Meanwhile, checks by your most credible news portal have revealed that some clubs are owing players as many as 3-months salary with some having adopted the pay-cut idea.
