Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech has questioned his teammates calmness in-front of goal after Arsenal were held to a 1-1 draw by local rivals Tottenham last Sunday.

The Gunners looked set to top the Premier League table heading into the international break after taking the lead in the North London Derby. thanks to Kevin Wimmer's own goal just before half time.

However, Spurs equalised early in the second half thanks toHarry Kane's penalty and neither side were able to find the crucial winner as the match ended level.

After the game, Arsenalgoalkeeper Petr Cech was quick to praise Spurs for their performance but admitted he was annoyed at his own teammates' wastefulness in-front of goal.

He told theDaily Telegraph:They pressed really well at the start so we had to play simpler football than normal. Then we found openings, we found space and we had confidence. Going ahead obviously helped with that but that changed after the equaliser.

They improved and we lacked a bit of rhythm. In the last part of the game, we should've been calmer in the last five or 10 minutes because we had some opportunities around the edge of their box but we never had the calmness to find the right pass.

The resultmeans that Arsenal slip down to fourth following another breathtaking weekend of Premier League action. Although the Gunners are only two points off of leaders Liverpool, they will be frustrated at squandering the chance to beat their fierce rivals.

Tottenham headed into the North London derby as underdogs having struggled for form in recent weeks, so they will have left the Emirates the happier side after maintaining their unbeaten league run this season.

They host West Ham after the international break whilst Cech and his Arsenal teammates face another crunch match as they travel to Old Trafford to take on Manchester United.
