Ghana and Reading FC defender Andy Yiadom will miss the rest of the season after picking up an injury, according to GHANAsoccernet.com.

Yiadom was one of the standout players for the Championship side in the 2019/20 season before football activities were halted due to coronavirus pandemic.

The 28-year-old has sustained a long-term knee injury, hence he will be sidelined for a few weeks, effectively ruling him out for the remainder of the season with eight games to spare.

He missed Reading's 1-1 draw at home to Stoke City in the Championship over the weekend.

The right-back has made 25 appearances for the Royals in all competitions, scored one goal and provided three assists.
