Reports: David Duncan set be named new Aduana Stars head coach
Former Hearts of Oak coach David Duncan set to be named new head coach of Two-times Ghana Premier League champions, Aduana Stars.
According to media reports, Aduana are in advanced talks with the experienced trainer to take charge of the side ahead of the commencement of the Special Competition which kicks off later this month.
The Dormaa-based side have been without a substantive coach since the sacking of Japanese trainer Kenichi Yatushashi in September last year.
The 55-year-old has been on the fence watching since his bitter parting of ways with Asante Kotoko in April 2016.
He has previously managed Ghana Premier League sides including Sekondi Hasaacas, Great Olympics, AshantiGold and Hearts of Oak.
He was also the head coach of the Black Starlets of Ghana and the Black Meteors.
His vast experience saw him manage Free State Stars after he had won suitors in South Africa when he took Ashantigold to win the Macufe Cup in 2006.
However, he was only there for three months. In that short period of time, he led Free State Stars to victory in the Phakisa Cup in 2009 beating Soweto giants Orlando Pirates and Chiefs.
He left Free State Stars in August 2008 after they appointed Owen Da Gama as Technical Director of the club.
